It seems I finished this fan-patterned outfit at the right moment on those scorching days. I really love how fun and quirky this wax fabric is. When I saw it the first time it made me think about M.I.A’s video-clip, “Bamboo Banga“.

Il me semble que j’ai fini cet ensemble avec un imprimé ventilateurs au bon moment en ces jours de canicule. J’aime beaucoup le côté fun et décalé de ce tissu wax. Quand je l’ai vu la première fois, il m’a fait penser au clip de M.I.A, “Bamboo Banga“.

Oh, thank you! No, I drafted it myself. It’s actually a simple portion of fabric in the shape of a crescent moon that I gathered. I tried two sizes of ruffle -one really big and this one- and I finally kept the latter.
