A lot of very exciting things have been going on these last months. I can’t wait to show you more!
The other day I felt like doing a quick project and I block printed and sewed a silk noil table runner.
I found this ring in a drawer and fell in love. This was a gift from a relative on the day my mother got married when I was 10. I didn’t like gold at that time, but fortunately I kept it. 
My lover is far away now so here is the household these days.
Some beads for a flapper dress! I am looking forward to show you more… very soon.

Some fabric on my sewing table waiting to be turned into a summer dress. Then I’ll go make the sun dance with the Sioux*. Yeah, sure.
(And at that point I think to be very clever and I look for a few “nice” pics about the sun dance to add to my post… and I read the Wikipedia article).
That isn’t a ritual for squeamish or a little bit fragile ones.

After all, I’m very comfortable with the gloomy weather. And I just need to wear tights with my dress. And regarding piercing, been there, done that when I was a teen. Yep.
* Please understand weather is awful at the moment – and from time immemorial… last year! – in Europe.

(Et là, je me crois très maligne, et je cherche quelques photos “sympa” illustrant la danse du soleil pour ajouter à mon billet… et je tombe sur l’article de Wikipedia).
Sachez que ce n’est pas un rituel pour chochottes et autres petites natures.

En fait, la grisaille, c’est pas mal aussi. Et j’ai qu’à mettre des collants avec ma robe. Et j’ai déjà donné au niveau piercing quand j’étais ado. Ouais.
Peeps is the new category I’ve decided to add to show you what’s going on on my sewing table. I hope you’ll like it.
Here’s the first peep: some crepe de chine fabric dyed utilizing my own humble take on the shibori technique (I had talked about it here) and which I’d like to use to make some new wearables.
Peeps (“aperçus” ou “coups d’oeil”, en français) est le nom de la nouvelle catégorie que j’ai décidé d’ajouter pour vous montrer ce qui est en cours sur ma table de couture. J’espère que ça vous plaira.
Voici donc le premier peep : quelques soies crêpes de chine que j’ai teint selon mon humble interprétation de la méthode japonaise de shibori (j’en avais parlé ici) et que j’aimerais utiliser pour la confection de nouveaux modèles.
